Close enough for a weeknight

Bridgeview Soccer Academy training in Brooklyn

A weeknight practice works best when getting there is simple. That is what Dyker Heights families get: the field sits a few minutes down toward the water, on Bay Parkway.

From Dyker Heights the drive runs about eight to twelve minutes, and you park free at the shopping center next door. Sessions last an hour, so a Tuesday evening stays an evening rather than becoming a project.

  • Groups of 5 to 8 children per coach, so the coach knows your child by name and by level.
  • The same training standard whichever coach and group your child lands in.
  • A field that works all year — open air in summer, under a climate-controlled cover in winter.
  • Evaluations and reports, so you can see what changed and why.
Getting Here

From Dyker Heights to the field

A short run south toward the water, and the whole trip stays inside the neighborhood grid.

The field
MatchPoint NYC
9000 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11214

Our sessions run inside the MatchPoint complex in Bensonhurst — an enclosed, secured site with locker rooms, a cafe and a waiting area for parents.

By car from Dyker Heights
About 8 to 12 minutes

Aim for Bay Parkway at Shore Parkway, beside the Caesar's Bay shopping center. Traffic between 5 and 7 in the evening is the only thing that stretches the trip.

There is free parking at the Caesar's Bay shopping center right next to the complex.

By subway and bus
D train, local buses

The D line along Bay Parkway is the closest subway option, with the B6 and B82 buses running toward the field. The walk from the station is long enough that most Dyker Heights families drive.

While your child trains
Stay, or watch from anywhere

There is a parent waiting area on site, and sessions are streamed — so a parent who has to drop off and run can still watch the training.
