RUSSELL TIMOSHENKO Memorial

Bridgeview Soccer Academy and Sports Veterans Association held another Detective Russell Timoshenko Memorial on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The traditional event commemorates a Brooklyn police officer who heroically died in the line of duty. The event was attended by the representatives of the NYPD, who solemnly performed the national anthem, as well as Russell Timoshenko’s parents.

As part of the Memorial, friendly games were held at Matchpoint field with Bridgeview Soccer Academy students, Academy coaches and our friends from Asian-American Team Up.
